Media Collections

5min

Who can access this:

  • Included in all plans
  • Anyone with the Media Collections and Media Items permission

Media Collections is a content creation option that allows you to upload multimedia from your own files to compose a collection. A Media Collection can consist of a single item, or a collection of assorted types of media, presented in a slide deck.

Once you've created a Media Collection, it is available to link to in other content you create, such as a Focus Content piece. You could also boost views by setting up an App View Challenge. All items in your collections are automatically stored and available in your media library.

Examples

A Media Collection is a suitable option for sharing different types of media in a slide deck. Examples include:

  • A series of exercise videos
  • PowerPoint slides converted to a PDF or video
  • A slideshow that includes both videos and images
  • An audio recording of a class
  • Onboarding materials

Types

A Media Collection can consist of four different types of media that can be of any size:

  • Images: This allows you to upload an image.
  • Videos: This allows you to upload videos you have created yourself.
  • PDFs: Upload a single or multi-page PDF.
  • Audio: Upload an audio recording.

How do I manage items I've uploaded?
