Set up a preview for others
Who can do this:
- Anyone with editing permissions for Tags, Users, and Homescreen
- Additional viewing permissions are needed for the app content you're using (e.g. Focus Content, Media Collections)
Set up a preview for individuals who don't have access to the dashboard, so they can temporarily review your content in the app.
What if I set up a preview for a Challenge?
After users complete their preview or testing, you'll need to create a new Challenge to ensure scoring starts fresh.
Add a User tag
Add a Preview tag by doing the following:
- Go to Admin ➤ Tags ➤ Users and click Add.
- In the dialog, enter Preview and click Save.
Preview now shows up in your list of available tags.
Assign the tag to users
Assign the Preview tag to the users whom you want to preview the content.
To assign the Preview tag to a user:
- Go to Admin ➤ Users and select the user from the list.
- In the Edit user window, under User tags, select Preview.
- Click Save.
Repeat this for each user to whom you want to assign the Preview tag.

Assign the tag to content
Assign the Preview tag to the content:
- Open the content item.
- Under Availability, unselect any Groups or Teams. Make a note of these, if you want to re-assign them after the preview.
- Under Tags select Preview.
Only the users you have tagged are now able to view and test your content in the app.

Un-assign the tag
Once users have finished previewing the content:
- Go back through the previous steps and unselect the Preview tag from the content and the user(s).
- Re-assign the users to any Groups/Teams or tags they were unselected from.
