Set up a preview for others

Who can do this:
- Anyone with editing permissions for Tags, Users, and Homescreen
- Additional viewing permissions are needed for the app content you're using (e.g. Focus Content, Media Collections)
Use a tag to temporarily give individuals access to content in the app—ideal for testers or reviewers who don’t have dashboard access.
What if I preview a challenge?
If you're previewing a challenge be sure to create a new one aftterward so scoring starts fresh.
Add a user tag
To add a user tag:
- Go to Admin ➤ Tags ➤ Users.
- Click Add.
- In the dialog, enter Preview and click Save.
Preview now shows up in your list of available tags.
Assign the tag to users
To assign the Preview tag:
- Go to Admin ➤ Users and select a user.
- In the Edit user window, scroll to User tags, select Preview.
- Click Save.
Repeat this for each user to whom you want to assign the Preview tag.
Set content availability
To set the content availability:
- Open the content item (e.g., Focus Content).
- In the Availability section:
- Unselect any currently assigned Groups or Teams (make a note of these if you'll re-assign later).
- Under Tags select Preview.
Only users with the Preview tag can now access this content in the app.
How do I view their form responses?
If you're testing a form, you can view & download responses.
Un-assign the tag
Once users have completed their review:
- Go to your content and unassign the Preview tag.
- Go to Admin ➤ Users, and unassign the Preview tag from each user. Reassign them to any original tags, groups, or teams if needed.
