use the questions below to help you make edits to the layout structure and add content using display tags why are there extra content items showing up in a section? avoid this by turning off allow overflow, in the section settings allow overflow allows extra rows to be created below a section so any content with that section's display tag will appear in the overflow why is the content i want to add greyed out? if your content is not enabled (active) it will not be available to add to the layout to enable the piece, go to the list view of your items and either edit the item and change the scheduling , or in the list view, click enable why don't i see the content i just added to the layout? you may not belong to the group or have the tag the content was made available to below the layout editor, in the view field, select the name of a user to whom the content has been made available how do i move sections or blocks without breaking the layout? if you’re removing sections and blocks, it is best to work in the reverse order of how they’re placed content blocks (focus content, media collections, forms, raves, and sequences) always stay and move together within a section so to move the cluster, move the features and menus around it what if i remove a section or block out of order? if removing a block out of order, any blocks before it within the section, shift left and up, filling the empty slots this also applies to sections which display tags are accessible to me when editing a layout? only the display tags created for that specific group or team are accessible in the section settings, in addition to org level tags tags created within a specific group or team can’t be viewed or used by other groups or teams tags created at the top level are available to lower level layouts should i select “keep shared” or “make unique”? when editing a content block in a layout that's been copied from the top level, a dialog appears giving you these options keep shared select this to use the same display tag so the same content stays linked across both layouts adding and removing content in one layout will be mirrored in the other you'll be prompted for confirmation each time you edit shared content make unique select this to create a new display tag for the section this removes content tied to the original tag from then on, changes you make (adding, removing, or re ordering content) affect only this layout choose keep shared if you want updates to stay in sync across layouts, or make unique if you want to manage content independently we have duplicate display tags should i delete one? tags with the same name may belong to different layouts, so don’t delete them until you confirm where they're used for easier management at the org level, consider renaming them (e g , hr a and hr b) to indicate which layout each is tied to if you’re working within a single layout, give each tag a unique, descriptive name to clearly distinguish the sections they control
