View & adjust Points

Who can do this:

  • Anyone with permission to edit Points

The Points ledger provides you a record of all point entries, including the source, date, and time. Along with reviewing and exporting the list, you can manually change users' points as follows:

  • Adjust point values earned for a specific Challenge
  • Adjust the overall point balance
  • Reverse the previous adjustment

The option to manually add points comes in handy for recognizing activities that were not tracked in the app.

Open the Points ledger

Review point transactions or make changes.

  1. Go to EngagementPoints.
    • A record of all past transactions is displayed.
  2. Proceed to the option you want below.

Adjust the Point value earned for a specific Challenge

Change the number of points a user received for a Challenge.

To do this:

  1. Tick the checkbox next to the entry. You may select more than one.
  2. In the dialog, enter the new points value and confirm by selecting Adjust.

You’ll be redirected to the Points ledger, where you'll see a green confirmation bar showing the change.

Want to display the entries of a specific user first?

In the Filter field, enter the user's name and you'll see their entries first.

Adjust users' overall Point balance

Change the overall number of points available to a user by individual selection, hierarchy, or tag.

To do this:

  1. On the Points page, select Add.
    • The Add/Deduct Points window opens.
  2. Under How many points? enter the number (e.g., 5 or -5).
  3. Under Who is this for? choose one:
    • Select by hierarchy/tags
    • Select people individually
  4. Select the Groups, User tags, or individuals and save.

You’ll be redirected to the Points ledger, where you'll see a green confirmation bar showing the change.

Reverse the last adjustment

Undo the adjustment you just made.

To do this:

  1. On the Points page, tick the checkbox next to one or more entries.
  2. At the top of the list, select the Reverse button.
  3. In the dialog, confirm the action by selecting Reverse.
