Customize your system email
By default, automated emails sent through Refresh, such as app invitations, password resets, and notifications, come from Refresh at [email protected].
You can customize the sender name and email address to reflect your organization's branding. For example:
Your Organization [email protected]
This helps users recognize and trust important emails from your organization, reducing the likelihood that messages will be overlooked.
How to configure your email sender
Step 1: Choose your sender details
Provide the Refresh team with the following:
- Email domain: Your organization's domain (e.g., yourorganization.org).
- Contact name: The name recipients will see (e.g., Your organization).
- Email prefix: The text before the @ symbol (e.g., noreply, support, or app-noreply).
Step 2: Configure your DNS settings
Refresh will provide DNS records for your IT administrator to add to your organization's domain settings.
These records allow Refresh to verify your domain and send automated emails on your organization's behalf.
Step 3: Verify your setup
Once the DNS records have been added, notify the Refresh team.
We'll verify the configuration and confirm when your customized sender name and email address are ready to use.
Important
This setup requires access to your organization's DNS settings. If you don't have access, please coordinate with your IT administrator or domain provider before starting.
