Add & invite a user
Who can do this:
- Anyone with the Users (editable) permission
Onboard a user with their email address, sending them an invite and assigning them to a Group all in one step.
- You've already onboarded the bulk of your employees, and you have a few to add later, such as when welcoming new employees to your organization.
- You want to add a test user without sending an invite.
If sending an invite, the employee receives a unique private link, which can only be used once. After they follow the prompt to create a password, they are registered.
Here is an example of an invite:
To add and invite a user:
1. Go to Admin ➤ Users and at the top of the page, click Add/Invite.
2. In the Add/Invite users window, select Single user.
3. Enter their email address, and optionally their name and phone number.
4. If you want, tick Bring users to app content.
- This also prompts users to download the app.
5. If applicable, tick Skip single sign-on.
6. Click Continue.
7. Confirm the remaining options and click Next:
- Assignment: Select the user's Group assignment.
- Don't send invites at this time: This adds the user without sending an invite.
8. If you're ready to send, click Create & send.
The user immediately appears in the dashboard, and their registration status is marked pending, until they register.
