Get public invite link
Who can do this:
- Anyone with the Users (editable) permission
Send a public link when you want to send a general invite through your own email or other communication channel.
- You have a reliable company communication tool, outside of Refresh, e.g., Outlook.
- You're not using single sign-on and want to create brand new accounts.
- You're comfortable sharing a public link.
When clicked, the public link directs people to a signup page, as shown below. This may look different depending on your particular setup.
What if I use single sign-on (SSO)?
If so, instead of sharing the public signup link (which prompts employees to create a new account), share your app’s landing page or store listing for them to log in.
When employees use SSO to log in for the first time, they’ll automatically appear as registered in the dashboard. If they’re already signed into their SSO account, they might bypass the login page and access the app directly.
To get the public invite link:
1. Go to Admin ➤ Users and at the top of the page, click Add/Invite.
2. In the Add/Invite users window, select Copy the public invite link.
3. Paste the link into your communication channel.
How do users get the join code?
If requiring a join code (i.e., when inviting someone to a specific group or department), this must be included in your invite.
As soon as users register they'll appear in the dashboard.
