Add Offers

Who can do this:

  • Anyone with MP Vendors (editable) and MP Offers (editable) permissions

Add one or more Offers for each Vendor, providing employees an assortment of deals to browse within a Marketplace.

An Offer includes details about the promotion, including:

  • Pricing or discount specifics
  • Purchasing options, such as a link to website
  • Terms and conditions related to the Offer

Open a new Offer

Add Offers at the same time you add a Vendor, or come back and add them later.

To open a new Offer:

1. Go to Marketplace Vendors & Offers.

2. In your list of Vendors, select the one you want to add the Offers for.

3. In the Edit Vendor window, scroll down to Offers, and click Add offers.

Add the Offer

Fill in the details about the Offer, such as a description and purchasing options.

To add the Offer:

1. In the New offer window, enter the following:

  • Offer name: This appears at the top of the menu, for the individual Offer.
  • Main description: This appears below the Offer name.
  • Add attachment: (Optional) This opens the content chooser where you can select a Media Collection, such as a PDF.

2. Choose the Pricing:

  • None: Select this if there is no price.
  • Currency value: This lets you enter a dollar amount.
  • Description: This lets you describe how pricing works, e.g. Price varies.

3. Select a Purchase type:

  • None: Select this if there's no purchase link to include.
  • External link: This lets you enter a call to action with a web address where users can make their purchase. Be sure to select Open in new tab on web app.
  • Checkout -> subscription: This lets you select a checkout flow, with a call to action and price, if applicable. If you're interested in a checkout flow, please contact Refresh's Customer Success team.

How do I choose the right 'Open in new tab' option?

  • Open in new tab on web app: Select this to ensure cross-platform compatibility. Since most websites cannot be embedded in iframes, this option works best.
  • Open in new tab in native app: For best results with this option, confirm if the link supports embedding. Some links may require adjustments (e.g., header removal) for proper display.

4. Under Other, fill in the remaining options:

  • Icon: Choose an icon for each Offer for a consistent look. Avoid if using an image.
  • Image (desktop only): This appears only in the desktop version of the app.
  • Callout: This appears in the top-left corner of the Offer.
  • Category: Enter a category, if using categories.

How do I ensure Vendors are categorized?

If you entered a category above, when you set up a Marketplace, make sure to select Group Vendors into categories based on their Offers.

5. At the bottom, click Add.

  • This takes you back to the Vendor setup and displays a dialog reminding you to save.

6. In the dialog, click Okay.

7. Click Save, or to add more Offers, repeat steps 3-6, above.

Now that your Vendor has an Offer, continue to add more Vendors with Offers, or proceed to Set up a Marketplace.
