Curious about how content looks to another user or group? 

Here are a couple of ways to preview content as another user.

## Option 1: Switch views 

See how content looks in the app to another user, without logging into their account.

To switch views:

1. In the dashboard, go to the mobile or desktop view.
2. Next to the **View** window, if there are **overrides, **click the **x** to reset the layout.  
3. In the **View **window, start typing the user's name to select it from the dropdown. 
   - If the user belongs to a group or team with a unique layout, the layout loads and a dialog notifies you of the switch. 
4. In the layout, select the content you want to view.
5. Once finished, enter your username in the **View** window, to switch back.

**How can I quickly access the settings for this layout?**

The small layout structure icon above the **View** window indicates which layout you're currently viewing. Click the icon to open the **Structure & settings** page.

## Option 2: Log in as a user

Temporarily log in as another user to see their view of content in the app, while staying logged into your own account.

To log in as another user:

1. Go to **Admin** ➤ **Users** and select a user from the list.
   - This open's the user's profile. 
2. Select **Get login link. **
3. Open a new private window and paste (ctrl + v) the URL in the address bar.
4. Select the content you want to view and once finished, select **Log out. **
5. Return to your regular browser window, where you're logged in as yourself.

**Why do I need to open a private window?**

Using a private window allows you to stay logged into your account at the same time. The cookies from your regular browsing window won't transfer to the private window, helping to avoid login errors.
