App View
Who can do this:
- Anyone with editing permissions for Challenges, Homescreen (if selecting availability), and Messages (if sending a message)
- Additional viewing permissions are needed for tied content (e.g., Focus Content, Media Collections)
Before creating a App View Challenge, you need to have shared content users are able to view in the Refresh app. This could be any of the following:
- Focus Content
- Media Collections
- News & Notices
- Events
- Forms
Use an App View Challenge to direct users to specific content.
To set this up:
1. Open a new Challenge and select Create from App View.
- The Select app view window appears with a list of available content.
3. Select the trigger. Viewing the trigger moves users toward the Challenge goal.
- A Setup window opens. The fields are auto-filled with details from the trigger, which you can change.
4. In the Type dropdown, Content, Event, or Form is already selected for you.
5. Fill out the remaining setup details.
Is your Challenge recurring?
If so, scoring is retroactive. This means if you're using content that was active before starting this Challenge, users will get credit if they previously viewed the content.
6. In the bottom-right, select Save and close or Save and send message.
- If you opt to send a message, you'll be brought to the Compose page.
The Challenge is published to the Challenges section of the app, unless you selected Hide/Show dates.
